Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

All services offered by Mahmoud Fathy are digital and custom in nature. Because significant time, expertise, and resources are committed at the start of each engagement, our refund and cancellation terms are designed to be fair to both parties. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any service.

2. Consultation Calls & Strategy Sessions

  • Free consultations: May be canceled or rescheduled at any time with at least 24 hours' notice. No-shows without notice forfeit the right to reschedule.
  • Paid strategy sessions: Fully refundable if canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Sessions can be rescheduled once at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice.

3. Project-Based Services

For fixed-scope projects (AI automation builds, campaign setups, audits, etc.):

  • Before work begins: A full refund of any upfront payment is available if you cancel before the project kickoff date defined in your agreement.
  • After work begins: Payments for work already completed or in-progress are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, you will be billed for the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation.
  • Deposits: Non-refundable unless Mahmoud Fathy is unable to fulfill the project due to circumstances on our end.

4. Retainer & Ongoing Services

  • Retainers are billed monthly (or as agreed). Each billing cycle covers the upcoming month of service.
  • You may cancel a retainer with 30 days' written notice to hi@mahmoudfathy.net. You will not be charged for the following billing cycle.
  • Partial-month refunds are not provided. The current month's retainer is non-refundable once the billing period has started.

5. Digital Products & Courses

Digital products (templates, playbooks, recorded courses) are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.

6. Exceptions & Goodwill Refunds

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., a verifiable emergency or a clear failure to deliver on our part), refund requests outside of these standard terms will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to fair outcomes. Reach out and explain your situation — we will do our best to find a resolution.

7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To initiate a refund or cancellation, please contact us via email with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address used at purchase
  • The service or product you are requesting a refund for
  • The reason for your request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and returned via the original payment method.

8. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks filed without prior communication may result in suspension of access to services and will be disputed with full documentation of the work delivered.
